Short summary of CV:
Supervision employee at the Dutch Authority of Financial Markets. I defended my dissertation “The Psychology of Insurance” on September 19, 2014. I’m interested in behavioral economics, judgment and decision-making, and economic psychology. I published an article at JDM in which we attempt to replicate a protection effect (a form of magical thinking). A paper on moral hazard in the insurance industry has been accepted for the Netspar Panel Paper series. I have written another paper on insurance fraud and one in which I experimentally test for ex ante moral hazard.
